The Rail Ahead: Building a National High Speed Rail System Through Partnerships (The Western High-Speed Rail Alliance Conference 2010)

To be held Oct. 13-15, 2010, at the Vdara Hotel & Spa @ CityCenter in Las Vegas, the Western High-Speed Rail Alliance Conference 2010 will feature an array of speakers. The event's theme: "The Rail Ahead: Building a National High-Speed Rail System Through Partnerships." As the alliance puts it: "Hear from international and national industry leaders, learn more about Western-region connectivity proposals and developing partnerships, join like-minded advocates and share insights. Participate in breakout sessions, an evening cocktail reception, and talk with alliance members." The registration fee is $695 per person; $595 for American Public Transportation Association members and government agences. The registration deadline is Oct. 1.
