Colorado High-Speed Rail Plans


The Rocky Mountain Rail Authority (RMRA) - a multi-jurisdictional government body created to explore passenger rail in Colorado - is conducting a study to determine the technical, financial and economic feasibility of implementing high-speed passenger rail service in Colorado and into neighboring states. Using electric multiple unit (EMU) technology, trains could operate at speeds up to 220 mph.
