Mississippi High-Speed Rail Plans


The state of Mississippi has no near-term high-speed rail plans, although some planning work has been conducted through the Southern High Speed Rail Commission, which is overseeing plans for the federally designated Gulf Coast Corridor. The longest line of the proposed high-speed rail corridor runs between New Orleans, Meridian, Miss., Birmingham, Ala., and Atlanta.
